We started Golden Dawn Adoption Assistance Inc. as a memorial to our daughter Karissa "Kari" Dawn who was adopted from Viet Nam in December of 1999. When Kari was two years old she was diagnosed with autism. Kari died in an accident on August 15, 2004 at age four. Kari is the Dawn of Golden Dawn.

Tilli Noel, our beautiful AKC registered Golden Retreiver, was born on Christmas day 2006. Tilli contributed eleven pups in the spring of 2008 which we sold to raise funds for our first grants.

Tilli has contributed 45 pups to help raise funds for our grants.

Tilli is the Golden of Golden Dawn.

After contributing 45 fabulous healthy puppies to the cause Tilli retired from the puppy producing business, but we have adopted a very beautiful AKC Registered Tri-Colored shetland Sheepdog named Princess Triana Belle. Shetland Sheepdogs or Shelties as they are often called can be outstanding companion dogs. They are very trainable because they are intelligent and anxious to please. They are loving, affectionate, and extremely loyal to their family members, but are naturally aloof and reserved around strangers. They are good with children and can be good guard dogs. Triana has Champions and a good variety of coat colors in her blood line and we anticipate some exceptional puppies from her. As with Tilli, all money from the sale of Triana's puppies will go to grants to families adopting children with special needs.

Golden Dawn Adoption Assistance Inc. is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization with the goal of providing adoption grants as described above. We have approved eighteen grants thus far totaling over $35,000.00 and we hope to be able to offer many more in the future.
